Anybody has any information about Shalir Khazra?
An other name appeared here, Shalir Khazri (شلير خضري), sometimes spelled Shalar Khazra or other spellings. Can anybody confirm this? Allegedly (s)he has been shot on the Baharestan square, either the 16th or the 23th of June. (I have never heard this name of person Shalir i didn't know it is a girl's name)

ReplyDeleteRegarding Shalir, it seems that some part of the report so far is wrong. It is stated that she died on either June 16 or 23 at Baharestan. June 23 seems to be the most frequent report (all having the same source). However, I cannot find a report of demonstration on June 23 at Baharestan (correct me here if I am wrong). On the other hand, there was demonstrations on June 24 at Baharestan and on that day, there is a report of a young 19 year old girl being martyred at Baharestan.
Could it be so that this young 19 year old girl is indeed Shalir and that she, in that case died on June 24 (۳ تیر) Has anyone else investigated this?
