Keramatollah Zareian

Keramatollah Zareian - کرامت‌الله زارعیان
Keramatollah Zareian was born in 1985 and he was a political and student activist. He was arrested in August 2009 during the post-election protest. He was released but forced to move to Singapore to continue his studies. During his visit back to Iran he has been arrested at the airport and again detained. When he decided to stay in Iran to finish his studies, he complained about continuous harrassment by the security forces and threats against him. The security forces wanted to induce him to leave Tehran. On the 25th of November 2012 he has been reported missing and his body has been found in his rented appartement in Jahrom in the bathtub full of water 4 days after. This condition made the determination of the causes of his death much harder. It is highly probable that he has been killed under torture. Sources: in English, in Persian here and here.

Omid Golbaz - tortured, mutilated

This is a photo of Omid Golbaz before he was arrested. He is a student deprived from education because of political reasons. Here you find more pictures after he came out, beaten, with his fingers and one tooth broken. On the picture it is clearly visible that the end of one of his fingers has been cut away. He was arrested 23 Tir (July 14 2009) on Vanak square in Tehran and brought to an undisclosed location, a secret prison where he was subject to further torture and beating, he suffered also internal bleading. The prisoners were blindfolded and interrogated in any time of day or night, under physical and psychological pressure, threats of further beatings and rape. Even after one week and after his transfer to Evin prison he did not receive any medical treatment of his injuries.

Amir Mirza

This story has been sent to me from a private source.
This young man is an other victim of torture and horrible treatment of people during and after the post-election riots. On one of the last days of June he was badly wounded by Basijis and forcibly arrested near one of the main squares in Tehran, and then sent to prison, accused of several crimes including rioting, spying and plotting to overthrow the regime during the massive street demonstrations and acting as an agent against national security. Supposedly he was identified from a newspaper photograph.

After being tortured and beaten for three days, he was finally released on a high bail paid by his family.

Unfortunately he died some days later (due to complications of internal lung bleeding and meningitis). Even though he was denied the medical treatment he was detained again and tied up on the floor naked till he died while "checking his documents" by security forces at the hospital. His body was kept there but finally delivered to his home when his family paid a huge amount of money and under strict conditions and agreements.

Ramin Ghahremani

The photo of Ramin Agha Zadeh Ghahremani has been published here.

Ramin Ghahremani was released from jail 15 days after his initial arrest, with visible signs of torture on his body. After his release, he told his mother that he was hanged by his feet for several days and took severe blows to the head. Ramin Ghahremani was admitted to the Milad Hospital after his release and passed away there. One of Ramin Ghahremani’s relatives told Rooz, “At the hospital they told us that Ramin’s skull is broken, but after his death security officers took him away and returned his body to his family four days later.”

According to this relative, the Ghahremani family was barred from holding a simple memorial at their house and are under heavy pressure to refrain from granting any interviews or disseminating information. Source Rooz online.

Pooya Maghsood Beigi

It seems that this is the name of a new victim. People are twitting that he was arrested in Kermanshah on June 20th and received extreme torture, was release from prison and died two days later. He was a medical student at the Kermanshah Medical Sciences University, and his mother Zahra (Behjat) Norouzi was arrested after wrapping her body in clay and staging a sit-in in front of the Ministry of Intelligence’s office in Kermanshah the first days of August.

Amir Khodaie

On http://greenwavearchive.blogspot.com there is a horrible news in Persian about a prisoner who has been tortured to death in Kahrizak camp. His name is given as Amir Khodaie (امیر خدایی) and the source is telling that he died of severe injuries: his jaw and neck were broken and because of the injuries he lost completely one of his eyes.

Needs further confirmation.

Hossein Akhtar Zand

Hossein Akhtar Zand is a new victim of the Islamic Regime's prisons and detention centres, like the concentration camp Kahrizak. Pictures of his tortured dead body have been published online. Warning, graphic content.

New names from Kahrizak

An eye-witness story appeared about the horrible situation in Kahrizak camp which was used to gather the hundreds of detained during the riots. After the witness, these people have been beaten to death or died because of their injuries.

Hassan Shapoori (student)
Reza Fatahi (student)
Milad (no last name, 16-17 years old boy)
Morteza Salahshoor
Morad Aghasi
Mohsen Entezami

The source of the story in English, in Persian.
After the latest news, Kahrizak detention camp has been closed. Just because it became too known. It is highly probable that the prisoners have only been transferred elsewhere.

Anyway a further confirmation is needed.
