Saeed Khodadadi

Saeed Khodadadi - سعید خدادادی
It is said that this young man has been killed by the regime security forces after he insulted Khamenei, the Iranian Supreme leader. His dead body has been handed over to his family in the city of Mashhad. It is interesting that an internal iranian website gives a different information about him. It says he fell during his military service in combat with "counter-revolutionary forces" in Ahvaz and died because of a bullet that hit his head. A different source here.

Keramatollah Zareian

Keramatollah Zareian - کرامت‌الله زارعیان

Keramatollah Zareian was born in 1985 and he was a political and student activist. He was arrested in August 2009 during the post-election protest. He was released but forced to move to Singapore to continue his studies. During his visit back to Iran he has been arrested at the airport and again detained. When he decided to stay in Iran to finish his studies, he complained about continuous harrassment by the security forces and threats against him. The security forces wanted to induce him to leave Tehran. On the 25th of November 2012 he has been reported missing and his body has been found in his rented appartement in Jahrom in the bathtub full of water 4 days after. This condition made the determination of the causes of his death much harder. It is highly probable that he has been killed under torture. Sources: in English, in Persian here and here.

Hassan Mirzakhan

Hassan Mirzakhan - حسن میرزاخان

The story of Hassan Mirzakhan is unfortunately one of the less known. This young man died at the age of 26 only recently, on 4th of April 2013, due to his injuries suffered four years ago, on 16th of June, 2009 in Vanak square. He remained paralyzed after he was hit by a bullet shot in his back which damaged his spinal chord.

Sattar Beheshti

Sattar Beheshti - ستار بهشتی

 

The story of Sattar Beheshti's death became widely known and has been published in most world media. The 35 years old Sattar was a known blogger and on-line activist. After writing critical articles about the human rights violations, first he has been threatened, than arrested on October 30, 2012 and after a week, only his dead body has been returned to his family.
